Meet the Author

Hi, I’m Kittley Rose.

I grew up on a farm in Eastern Colorado, where I spent my childhood surrounded by open skies, animals, and plenty of time to dream. Storytelling became a way for me to make sense of the world around me, and before long, those stories found their way onto paper.

At seventeen years old, I self-published my first book, Toxic Roses, inspired by my own mental health struggles and journey. What started as a passion project became the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead me across the country to Florida, where I studied Creative Writing and continue pursuing my dream of becoming a published author.

When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me at a car meet, relaxing at the beach, tanning in the Florida sunshine, or curled up with my golden retriever, Bucky. I’m a lover of fantasy novels, gut-wrenching stories that leave a lasting impact, Taylor Swift songs, and collecting crystals. I firmly believe that stories have the power to heal, inspire, and help us understand ourselves a little better.

Many of my books explore themes of mental health, self-discovery, grief, love, and hope. I enjoy weaving symbolism throughout my stories, creating layers of meaning that readers can uncover long after they’ve finished the final page. Whether I’m writing about magic, heartbreak, or what it’s like to be human, my goal is always the same: to create stories that stay with readers long after they close the book.
